love the sauna towel service setup, the staff always clean up every few hours. There are always some new machines and equipment on the weight floor.

Excellent gym with all you should ever need. I had an issue with the new treadmills stopping after a certain amount of time. I spoke with the management who had the company come in and reset the machines so that I could run my long distances! It was above and beyond what I expected. Other gyms would just say they can't fix it, that's the way they are programmed.

This is a fantastic gym with amazing management which is really rare. Its obvious that Harbor has great equipment, but the staff are extremely understanding and helpful.
When it came time for me to cancel my subscription, I was expecting the classic nightmare of trying to get out of a gym contract when I moved from the area. I had changed my credit card information and stopped going to the gym but hadn't canceled my membership with Harbor. When I went in to cancel two months later, Miguel the manager saw that I hadn't been at the gym during that period, and chose not to charge me for those two months even though he was well within his rights to do so.
Amazing gym, amazing management.

24 hour gym at a prime location in Park Slope! Their memberships are fair considering the size of the gym, the amenities, and great staff. They have plenty of free weights and machines.
They are meticulous: keeping the place tidy. The woman's locker room is spacious, enough room so you don't feel like your on top of each other while changing.

I felt perfectly fine about Harbor fitness over the course of my membership there. I was looking for weights, and they had weights. Everyone at the desk was very helpful. However, when it came time for me to leave the gym, I found the gym had put policy in place to make this difficult. At the time I was unable to travel to the gym. They refused, however, to help me cancel my membership over the phone. I called at another time, hoping for better assistance. I announced my desire to cancel my membership. I was put on hold for several minutes. I called back, and was immediately put on hold. I called back twice more throughout the day. Each time I was immediately put on hold. I had to have my card reissued to deal with the situation.
Harbor Fitness wasted my time. When I wanted to cancel my membership, they became significantly less helpful, seemingly according to policy. I'm having a hard time seeing this as anything but underhanded business practices.
