I spoke to this doctor over the phone about my mother's diagnosis. He kept going on rants such as "if she refuses his care she will lose her Medicare and it's an election year then she will have to go on Obama care." My mother has an anger issues so I was asking about anger management courses because her outburst causes her to have extra stress. He said he would advise against because when his brother went for anger management courses he couldn't get a job at a bank. My mother is retired, what his brothers employment issues have to do with my mothers health is beyond me. Avoid this guy at all cost!

In all honesty, my wife didn't even have the chance to see the doctor, the issue she encountered was with his secretaries/office administrators who when asked over the phone said that they accepted a certain kind of insurance and after setting up an appointment and reaching there, one of them claimed that the insurance she has does is not accepted by the doctor and of the secretaries was very provocative while talking to my wife.

This is the neurologist I saw once 2 years ago for my sleepiness, but we just recently received a bill charging us $350 for his "services" which seems to be a complete scam.
Two years ago I had an appointment and came on time with my dad but I was literally the very last person to be seen. All these aggressive people who didn't have an appointment that day kept going in making a scene to the lady so she let them go in ahead of us. The staff seemed to be his family and they were generally rude and uncaring. My dad was angry but he didn't cause a scene so the lady just kept saying "5 min you're next" for the next 5 hours.
It was NIGHT TIME (8-9 PM) when i finally went in and then all Dr. Hanna did was talk BS about Vietnam after finding out my dad was from there, even though we tried to make it clear we did not wait a couple hours just to talk BS. We were hungry and aggravated.
He sat at his computer leisurely the entire time ON FACEBOOK LOOKING AT PICTURES thinking I didn't notice.
I explained my symptoms and he then LOOKED IT UP ON GOOGLE and said maybe I had African sleeping sickness (African trypanosomiasis) which made absolutely no sense because I knew what sleeping sickness was and that did not describe my problem at all.
He himself didn't seem to know much about sleeping sickness so he pulled up a YOUTUBE VIDEO about it and we sat there watching it even though it wasn't even a professional video from a legitimate source.
He was very unprofessional and didn't seem to have any clue what my problem could be. He just wrote a referral to do a bunch of tests and that was it.
We only did the blood test which checked for HIV (of course I didn't have HIV). We never came back or did the rest of the tests because he was so full of shit.
I saw a psychiatrist and it turns out I had ADHD-PI, not African sleeping sickness. However, as I said we are now being charged $350 for seeing him 2 years ago.
Please don't waste your time with these people.

Staff behavior was unprofessional and highly inappropriate. The equipment to measure blood pressure and body temperature needed batteries which they quickly took from a remote control. No need for new batteries I suppose. Doctor would not look at the patient but browsed the internet as he asked the patient questions, causing him to repeat his questions many times. Doctor issued instructions to assistant to only pretend to handle a patient who was on the telephone as the patient did not have insurance. Doctor found blood pressure on an 11 year old to be very high (Odd because this patient is seen by her doctor on a monthly basis just about and this was never the case (Remember the old batteries?)) After I explained to the Doctor that she has never registered with high blood pressure in years of testing he insisted that on taking my blood pressure (He presumed we were related). No surprise, my blood pressure was high according to his instrument and in 41 years of age, this had never happened. I have been an active athlete my entire life with well above average readings. Finally, the good doctor was prepared to make a diagnosis on the girl - that she suffered from headaches because of high blood pressure (which was inherited, he quickly explained because he presumed we were related). He also used his wife's blood pressure as a baseline. His wife, a woman who I wouldn't say she was fat, but certainly too short for her weight.
This Doctor is unprofessional and highly incompetent as is his staff. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this Doctor.
