Reviews to Hands On World
My older boy spent 2 years in the Italian program at Hands On World and my younger boy did one year in French. They both had great experiences. The teachers there are caring and calm and always put the children first. My younger son had terrible separation anxiety and his teachers were endlessly patient and always let me know how he was doing. It is a lovely preschool for two year olds to start at and makes for a gentle transition. Seeing how ready my elder boy was for pre-k really brought home to me how good for him his time at Hands On World was. I'll really miss the place my boys love to call the 'Purple Door School'!!

This is a wonderful school with caring, smart and open-minded teachers. Our daughter loves going there and comes back with wonderful artworks and stories. We highly recommend it.

I found this school by chance, and we visited with my wife, Felicity help us and give us orientation in our school search; and we look at many other schools after and didn't find any other school like this one around.
Our son Nicolas attended Hands on World for the Spanish and Italian Class and also the summer camp, we all LOVED the school, the teachers, the arts, all of it.
Our son came more than ready for kindergarden, he came out with more imagination, love for painting and arts, and a passion for theatre and dance. i don't think you can get all this for any other pre school.
All i can say is that i wish i will have more kids, just to take them there.
Grazie! Federicca! Sara! Guiditta! Felicity! Francois! Thomas! Guillermo! Monica! and all the before and afterschool teachers (sorry if i forgot anybody)

Our daughter began going to Hands on World when she was two years old. She went there for two years, including for summer camp, and when she began she was very shy. Over the course of her time at HOW, we watched her thrive; she was in the Italian class absolutely loved her teachers and looked forward to school everyday. The language immersion is so wonderful for children that age, the environment is happy and warm, and the focus on art is such a perfect way for children just learning to talk to express themselves. We could not be happier that we chose to send her there, and we are now sending our son there in the fall.
I really don't understand the negative review below. I never once saw a child being ignored while crying...the ratio of teachers to students is perfect so that if a child needs extra attention, they can get it! I found Felicity and all of the teachers at HOW to be genuinely caring and nurturing; there was a time last summer when I had to pick up my daughter because she was not feeling well, and when I arrived Felicity was sitting in the corner rocking her and soothing her, while the rest of the children were working on an art project with the teacher. It was extremely comforting to know my daughter was being so well cared for in my absence, and that Felicity took the time to give my daughter the one-on-one attention she needed.
Regarding the cost, we found it to be less expensive than most of our other options in the area; all it takes is a little research to find that out. HOW is not a daycare or a babysitting service, it's a school where children learn and grow...and it is worth every penny!

Hands on the world...I will call it
Hands on my wallet...this guys took us 4000 $ !
The reason:
We we were not satisfy with the care given to our 2 years old boy.
staff let the kids cry and do net entertain them. They only play with the one who are not crying !
And if that bother them too much they call you at work and tell you to come and pick the bay up
because the baby is " inconsolable "
Don' t listen to the beautiful speech of the manager Felecity Miller she is serving a bullshit speech about how children are fragile and should not be hurt....blablabla. She is only doing business
with you and your baby
Do not go there or if you go do not sign anything. It s the scam
