Hand Rolled Bagels

So I walked into this bagel shop with a line that wrapped around inside this little shop. The line was moving fast, until I reached the counter. Then all went dead and silent. Hmm, strange I thought. I stood...no service. Then a young girl stood in front of me and said, "next customer please" and kindly served the man behind me, then the woman behind me,and the person behind her. This person did not and would not look me in the face as she continued serving everyone behind me. There was one counter person who sheepishly and reluctant walked to me and took my order, she was BLACK, and so am I. I like an idiot I spent my hard earned money at a nice RACIST little bagel shop IN NEW HYDE PARK, HAND ROLLED BAGELS. It is 2015 and all white America can say is all lives matter. Well not for this shop. I didn't matter. I cleared this busy shop. No one wanted to serve me. I HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR.

The absolute best bagels in this area. Period. Just go here. You can see them making it in the back. Kind of old school - the boys work the back and the ladies work the front. Their smoked salmon is superb and their house cream cheese is soft and tasty. It has the perfect balance of chewiness and density without being too caky (if you know what I mean). Slightly expensive, but worth every penny. Kind of tight inside with a few small tables. There's usually a line in the mornings, but it moves fast.

I've eaten bagels far and wide. These are the real deal. Doesn't get any better.
