Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Their only goal is to sign up members and once you have signed up, they do not service their customers accordingly. My husband and I went in for separate massages a week ago. While we we were there, they said they had Valentines day couples massages available and had one appointment left for 4 PM on Valentines Day. They showed us the room and said "this is where where do the couples massages, you'll love it, look that the fireplace etc, Why don't you book it, we have one appointment left?" She said it was the only appointment left so we booked it.
When we arrived at 4:00 today, they checked us in. We waited a few minutes, a therapist called my husband's name he went in. A minute later I asked the woman at the desk why I was not called in too, as we booked the couples massage and another said there was a mix up and there were no appointments available and that "She was just showing us the room last week". The woman said we could have separate massages, but it was of little consolation. We are canceling our membership. Perhaps they need to learn the fundamentals of scheduling and customer service.

The staff at Hand and Stone are nothing but excellent! I worked very closely with Colleen to set up a Spa evening for myself and my bridal party before my wedding. She worked with me on all the details and secured two massage therapists - both were amazing and everyone was SO HAPPY with their time. We were able to bring in snacks and had a private area away from others so we would not disturb anyone. It was really such a treat to have something like this! I called a handful of spa's in the Bergen area and no one would even consider letting me do something like this. It was a perfect way to say thank you to my bridesmaids!!!!! THANK YOU COLLEEN!!!

Recommend highly the hot stone massage. Takes it to another level of tension release especially head and neck from computer strain. Membership is the way to go.

Absolutely an excellent experience! From the moment you walk in, the staff is nice and friendly ready to assist and help you. The waiting area is set up to be a warm atmosphere to get you prepared for your massage as well as it being very quiet and relaxing to help you feel comfortable. Ask for christine, she is the best massage therapist!!! She is so sweet, amazing and so accommodating to your specific needs, and always makes sure you are satisfied and totally relaxed and feel so much better by the time you are leaving.
