The photos displayed accurate to detail, and while some will say the rooms are small by standards of other cities, but it was more than adequate with a lovely neutral, yet updated color palette and soft, luxurious bedding. The halls are narrow as the space was reserved for guest rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, who will greet you each day and offer cookies, water, tea, and cookies as well as hold your bags if you arrive early and hold them again when you leave town after check out. Hallways can be noisy for a brief moment, but that is the building itself and I was never bothered by any street noise. You are around the corner from tons of shops, eateries, Madison Square Garden, the subway, and essentially anything you could need for your stay. There is a 24 hour international food court directly across the street, 30 feet from the front door of the hotel. Want a cab? They are always close by, so there should be no fear of being able to catch a driver. The breakfast was wonderful with great traditional food items such as waffles, cereal, bagels, but they also provide wonderful protein items with their southwestern omelets, hard boiled eggs, and sliced sausage. Enjoy your stay!
