Looks like you are walking into a 5 star restaurant but you quickly realize it's no where near. My friend found a hair in her burger so she called over the waiter. He said "we have no one in the kitchen with that color hair" and walked away I swear to God! Don't waste your time and money.

Lackluster seems to be the prevailing experience. The lobster in the lobster and avocado salad was bland. The tomato was the variety cultivated to never ripen so as to have a long shelf-life so bland, fast-food quality at best but deserves no place in a restaurant that aspires to upscale. The filet mignon which I ordered rare was very good but both the house red and the restaurant made steak sauce was cloyingly sweet, like something you would find on a children's menu. The accompanying mashed potatoes was good enough but the zucchini was bland. Overall the flavors were uninspired and the service was adequate. When asked about my meal I offered my opinion on the wine and sauce and the reaction was close to, well that sucks for you doesn't it, but no compensation was offered although I had touched neither. Finally, the decor needs a reboot. Rather than refurbish they appear to have turned down the lights. BTW, the five stars being so conveniently absent of specificity I can only attribute to a carry over laziness from the staff.
Okay, for reasons gave this dive another chance and had to remove one star.
The shrimp and octopus dish reminded me of a dead sea animal. Have you ever had roasted octopus? Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. This was not that. This was its cold and slimy cousin reminiscent of a bad head cold. The burger I had was so overcooked it crumbled. You have to work really hard to screw up a burger in a steakhouse plus the patty seemed overpressed, like what you would get if you purchased it elsewhere instead of making it by hand on the premises. Unforgivable. Finally, and this was the last straw. The didn't have a cocktail menu at the bar. When asked why they said they never had one followed by the attendant pulling drink recommendations out of his ass. How about whiskey? How about you give me a menu so I can decide what I want and see the prices before I order. Never again.

I ordered the babyback rips and they were just bad, I mean they just tasted like overcooked meat with a lot of sauce put on top.
The service was bad, no refill at all. And they want 7$ for a pitchers of coke!

Very Unprofessional Establishment.
We had a reservation for my sister-in-law's birthday for 5 people. Reservation made 4 days prior.
Got there and they said they're closed nor a private party. They found our reservation and said "we're closed for a private party, there's nothing we can do for you".
We asked why they didn't Call us to cancel our reservation and they showed us the Door.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I would've accepted an apology and maybe a thought on another place to dine.... seeing as it was 6:30 pm on a saturday.
Everywhere is Booked at that time.
Ruined our evening.

Great steaks, beautiful cigar lounge, beautiful views of the city. I was very impressed with Hamilton and Ward my very first time from the service and food. We had a private party, and they placed us in one of their many banquet rooms and had an excellent dinner. After diner we went upstairs to lounge and relax in their awesome cigar lounge. They had a decent selection of cigars to purchased, but I usually bring my own. I've been to this steakhouse several since then, and I always enjoy my experience. This place is comparable to any high end steakhouse in NY with spectacular views of downtown Paterson!
