I am writing this letter to express, once again, my gratitude to you for taking care of my property. This is the fifth property I have sold in New York in the last decade. I have worked with agents from Corcoran and Prudential but I have never experienced this high a level of professionalism, personal care and overall excellence. This was the best experience I ever had in real estate. You were amazing in the process of preparing, -, staging, marketing and ultimately selling my co-op in the West Village.
We both knew this was a difficult property to sell. A 5th floor walk-up in the need of major renovation represented quite a challenge! Your design and personal touch in decorating the apartment brought out its best features and made it appealing to the potential customers. Your business acumen was really good in pricing the property and marketing it to a first time buyer. You kept reinventing the property and you found just the right buyers – a young couple looking for their first home. The offer came, however, with a series of challenges. The buyers were inexperienced and nervous, so you had to hold their hand through every step. You never lost patience and continued to be pleasant and polite.

And that is not all. You had to deal with the building’s management company who were extremely difficult. That didn’t stop you either. You prepared the most complete co-op board package, personally made all the copies, and delivered them to the co-op board. You were there to deal with a number of inspections, repairs, nosy neighbors and more. There is no question in my mind that you went above and beyond the professional call of duty. Scott and Jesse were on-point from the get-go, and helped us navigate our way through a tricky market to selling our co-op for the best price we could get. But of equal importance to their professionalism was their personability-- Jesse would show up early to our open houses with flowers and fresh-baked cookies. Scott helped us wait out the three hours by entertaining us (and our dogs) in the back yard. By the end of the process, they were more than our brokers. They were friends.
