Halloween Express

The owner/manger was AMAZING!!! She helped my mom with the accessories to her 1920's costume. Very polite and very helpful! Nice job with the music outside!

Prices way too high compared to the competition that is literally across the street.

Horrible experience

I had the WORST experience ever at the store in Marlboro, NJ. I wrote to customer service about it, but they couldn't help me because the stores are individually owned. One of the sales clerks that works there (Joe) tried to rip me off several times and he was the shadiest person ever. First of all, he tried to get me to buy one of the decorations I was looking at by saying he would knock $5 off the price. When he rang up the item, he rang it up for the full amount which we didn't see until we were leaving because the receipt we signed didn't have the detailed breakdown of each item. I let it slide. Then I noticed that he didn't take off 50% (this was after Halloween, so everything was on sale) of one of the $20 items and I went back into the store to tell him to give us credit back on that but he told me that he "didn't know how to work the computer and couldn't give me my money back." So he told me to pick out something else that was worth the difference ($10) and kept trying to get me to pick out stuff that was under $10. I kept trying to tell him that no, I would need something $20 because everything was 50% off he kept trying to play dumb and not hear me or understand. He eventually "understood" what I was saying after much arguing with him. In addition, earlier on when I was looking at costumes, I had him help me reach something at the top of the display specifically telling him I was looking for a size small. I eventually found something on my own that had a big X in "small" on the front of the package, so I took that and as the salesman/manager was ringing me up, he didn't tell me that it was a large. Later when I got home, I found out that it was not the size specified on the front of the package. I went back to the store the next day (a Sunday) but it was closed all day and will probably be closed until next year. So now I have this humongous costume that I won't ever be able to wear. Just a bunch of wasted money and time. Word of advice, don't EVER buy stuff from this company.
