Hall Of Lights

Rented the hall and had a horrible experience. The owner, who also happens to own the real estate office on the corner of 117th Street, was condescending to me and the my people setting up. I actually had to yell at him after he made some off the wall comments. He had the audacity to scream at me that I was begging him to use a table, and that beggers should not be choosers. Are you kidding me??? Who talks to someone like that, especially if we are renting a place from you. He doesn't know how to talk to people. We couldn't hang anything on the walls. Upon setup, he asked me to hire him as a bar tender, to which I said no...then he told me that he had to stay and bar tend because the license was under his name. He still stayed for the entire event, but didn't pour a single drink for anyone...imagine that...a total stranger just hanging around my guests. Anyone needed a drink, he told them to pour it themselves. Horrible experience, I would never rent anything from them ever again.
