Hale & Hearty

The food was good and the ambiance was quiet and peaceful

This is for the Seafood Fra Diavolo. They add too much orzo on the bottom, so watch if you are on a low carb diet. Perhaps linguini would be more appropriate, but I guess orzo is easier to handle. Also, there is not as much lobster or shrimp as shown in the photo in the window that attracted me into the restaurant. I did get several large clams in my dish, which were quite tasty and chewy. The sauce contains more sugar than I would prefer, but I like really tart tomato paste (Victoria sauce is the best!). However, the spice balances out the sweetness. For around $13 after tax, you get a nice filling large bowl of hot seafood stew, which is something you are not able to find elsewhere in the area. The crew in this place really try to get the line moving.

This is the best Hale and Hearty I Have been too
Although most of their locations have healthy food and a clean atmosphere
The store on 87th and 3rd has impeccable customer service
The manager, Jason is great and always makes sure the customer is happy
