Hair or No Hair

As a customer of JSisters for over 7 years, I was having difficulty finding a more reasonably priced establishment with the same quality of Brazilian Waxing. Thank goodness I found Pilar. I looked up locations in Brooklyn for waxing. After I tried a few salons, I found "Hair or No Hair" by Pilar in Red Hook Brooklyn. Sad that the storefront is no longer there--BUT as good fortune would have it, Pilar takes on Private Clients. The same phone number as above in approximately the same location. She now has a small studio in the rear part of the building. Small but comfortable, Pilar offers Hair, Waxing and Nail Services. I can only rave about the Waxing. She uses Hard Wax for the most sensitive parts of your body--and traditional wax for the rest. There's no double dipping either--she is very sanitary and professional. I am also excited that the price was beyond Great!! $40 for a Brazilian Waxing as opposed to the $75 JSister's charges. I also feel that she did a much more through job than the girls at JSisters. I highly recommend this young woman who is sweet and gentle. Very professional as well. Pilar has also been written up in Time Out Mag as one of the best Waxing deals in Brooklyn. I live all the way in Bay Ridge and from now on I will be driving down to Red Hook to see Pilar on a regular basis. Believe me, make an appointment with her, you will not be disappointed at all. :O)
