It's one advantage is its one flaw: The school is diverse. You can travel almost anywhere else in Bergen County and see a predominantly white demographic. But not the Hack. Hispanics, Blacks, Whites, Asians, Middle Easterners, you name it, they're all here. Even the teachers are helpful and come from diverse backgrounds that are able to assist any kind of student. This creates a wide variety of voices and opinions that would be excellent for your son/daughter to experience. That said, though, the school has its lows: it can get a bit tough with rowdy students, for one. The school also has its share of harsh expectations from the critics, while for the students, the adjustment to the school can be a bit difficult, but that should not discourage you or your student. It may not be a saint school or a Top 100 joint, but it's an awesome place where you child can learn from a world's point of view—something that's pretty hard to find elsewhere in Bergen County.
