Hackensack Gardens

i have been living in these apts for abt 1&1/2 yrs now,the best part is the management here is very efficient ,i mean if u need any assistance they r here for your help.there r 4 men & a super plus the management office is always open from 8.00 in the morning to 6.00-6.30 in the evening.
plus they r countinously remodelling the houses,i mean fixing & cleaning & replacing stuff for new.there is sufficient parking areas,plus if you can get the residence parking sticker than you can also park on the street.
the locality is very nice & people here r very friendly,esp if your`re indian & missing home than you`ll get a good company & can easily make new friends here.
the national wholesale liquidator is very nearby,where u can find most of the basic home stuff,so if u don`t have a car than also u can manage.there is 24hr diner/subway/dunkin donuts & chinese takeout also pretty nearby,at a walkable distance.
the only one concern i had initially was abt the space & storage in kitchen,but i guess looking at all the positive aspects,one can manage the space issues.
i hope this will help u guys in making up your mind.

I agree with Dave completely. If you are considering renting an apartment please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Previous residents do have electric heat and hot water included in their rent and YOU will be the one paying for that they will enjoy in the winter months. Oh and the bill for heat and hot water hikes up to more than 200 dollars. So if the apartment you are considering renting is 1200 then you will be paying 1400 each month not including electric and all other amenities. I would considering going down the block to the maywood apartments that have heat and hot water included. Be wise and informed.

Not worth what we pay for the apartment. I have not seen such worst staff and a place. PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR THIS APARTMENT.

They are not organised or friendly . They are not so good in even responding for service repairs. There is not thermostat control for the temperature in the house due to which it would be either very cold at times or very very hot at times. Nothing is good here.
