Dr. Elana Blanco of Hackensack Center for Foot Surgery did a most EXCELLENT job in performing the surgery to remove a bone spur from my ankle and repair my Achilles Tendon. Her pre-surgical explanations of the details of the procedure and how these translated to various steps of recovery were clearly explained to me. She took the time to listen to my concerns and address all of my questions. She was there to greet me on the day of the surgery and to assure me that everything would go well. On each of my post surgical visits she took the time to carefully assess where I was in the healing process and to communicate this to me. She was always concerned about my recovery.
