Hackensack Auto Wreckers & Repair

Honestly an awful experience. They promised to allow me to put a deposit down over the phone (because it would be a couple days before I could make it to Hackensack); then broke their word on that. Then I gave a clear description of my car and VIN number a couple times and they still ordered the wrong part. Because of the delay in ordering the part my car getting fixed got pushed back on the schedule. So I got another shop to agree to do the labor. My shop goes to put it on and they ordered the wrong part. They only offered to replace the part with the correct one, having a no refund policy. Honestly, they were rude in 90% of the interactions I had with them and clearly can't competently order a car part. If you want an awful, uncooperative customer service experience come here.

$20 for a great battery, already got two within a year, one for my car, one for my sons car, can't beat that price and value.

OMG,!!!!!! a woman answered the phone and put me on hold . after 5 minutes waiting I call them back. So rude and neglect idiot! ! You have to wait and don't call me back. .she said. ...I hang up. ....my first time. ....bad experience. .

ZERO STARS!!!!!! Avoid at all costs. This place bounces checks like its their job! Go look at their Yelp reviews. I am unfortunately like those reviewers. Did business with them got a check bounced sky high. If you have to do business with them take cash only, seriously.

Great place for used parts and services for your car. Honest people here. My part was out of town so they ordered it for me. Very nice and accommodating.
