Great place to get ur hair braided, weaved or cornrowed... Nice people, professional as well as friendly

I've been going to Haby's for a long time and for the first time I was disrespected and did not return. I was told one price over the phone, got there, they did the style, and tried to say it was $30 more than what was told over the phone. I argued with them until a lady that worked there said, "next time, don't say you won't give the money, say you don't have it, you can leave now." and I replied "I have the money, but your poor services and miscommunication doesn't deserve it."

I would not go here i spent $110 on getting box braids and they did terrible this is the worst place i've ever been to get my hair done TOTAL RIP OFF

They dont follow directions, you tell them to do something and they do it their own way. I feel they are very rude as well. smh

I would not recommend the services of Haby's African Braiding Salon to anyone. I previously received cornrows from them for 20 dollars. I returned for a similar style and was told 65 dollars because more hair was used. When I asked how much would it be to use my own hair I was quoted 60. So essentially the hairstyle went up 45 dollars for 5 dollars worth of hair. The woman assigned to do my hair then told me her aunt is not letting her do it because I questioned the price. The assumed manager recommended I go to another hair salon. I was appalled by the actions of these stylists. I have never been dealt with in such a manner. I could only assume that the poor customer service is a reflection of their lack of training in the field. I will be reporting them to the BBB and NJ state department for inspection. If I could give less stars I would.
