Regarding, Gutterman Musicant funeral Service - Hackensack, New Jersey.
This is my first funeral I arranged for a death of a family member.
When I went into arrange the funeral, I was treated well.
The representative assured me that he would be at the funeral but at the day of the funeral, I was told that that representative will not be there as promised.
I had received a driver that was one of the most insensitive, rude, abrasive horrible man that walks this earth.
When we arrived at BETH EL cemetery, there were 2 conflicting funerals with well over 50 automobiles parking and lineing up to follow the hearst to the gravside, I found myself, in my time of extreme grief having to direct my funeral procession (over 30 vehicles) personally instructing then to drive in a large loop to line up in a direction that they could have remained in theie original position.
The funeral director assisted me in no way. All he said was let's get this going, Placing extreme pressure , rushing all of us and negative attitude witnessed by many many family members.
After moving 30 cars that were never told where to park, they ended up sending us in the same direction.
It get's worse....The Gutterman Mucicant representative kept rushing us along and when we got to the funeral site, his attitude was "let's get this going and get this done. We had only arrived at the graveside and minutes later he was still rushing us along, asking us to limit the length of the service, which was a simple brief ceremony
He stood in the distance looking at me with agitation as to "let's get this done.
Maybe the driver should have just dumped THE CASKET out of the back of the hearse while driving to save time.
This , in my time of my greatest loss and my family's loss , will never be forgiven.
We have used this company since 1960's and I would rrather have my dead body laid out on a major Highway to be run over till I was turnedd into road likk then use this Gutterman Musicant.
I am now in the process of having this representative fired and go to an anger management program.
A written apology will be required for me not to proceed with this further.
This representative should have been the one buried that day..HE IS SCUM of the Earth.
I will talk to anyone regarding this to explain this Horrible Funeral Home.
STAY AWAY...There are alternatives.
May he rot in hell.
