Gus's Restaurant

Food was ok(fish is kind of plain) although it was very fresh, salad is amazing there. Waitress was very nice very attentive along with the rest of the waitress staff. Bartender was nasty , should not still be working there. I believe his name was 'Tommy-Lee' . My husband and I witnessed him on his cell phone at the bar while he had customers waiting , also cursing behind the bar . Very unprofessional . What was more disturbing was the manager there she just stood there listening to all of this nonsense. The other manager that was an older man was just as bad. He was yelling at the waitress for leaving a glass on a table. Really not a big deal. Just thought management was overall very poor , very negative and thats the last thing I would like to see at a restaurant . It was very sad to watch what this waitress went through. Very unprofessional. My husband and I will not be going back because of the negative things we saw.Also will not be recommending this place when people ask.

Overpriced. They throw a deli roll on the table with square hard butter. the owner Ernie will chat with you but cares more about you finishing up your meal and moving on.

i went with my family to gus's. it was an awful meal with 5 send backs. we have eaten there many times before (usually 9+ people.) usually no complaints. tonight, at the meals end, we tipped the waitress 15%. the managers knew we were displeased. however, not one cared to say we are sorry you had a bad meal. they must be well fixed. i expect from several reviews i read that their food has deteriorated. i feel badly; i wanted this to be a nice meal for my family. bingo is a good game for empty tables; lots of luck!

My wife and heard so much about this place,we were compelled to try it out. Very over priced,food not the best but servers are nice good hometown feel. Lower your prices and get a better chef.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday night only because it was recommended by a friend. The food was overpriced!! Not worth the money at all! Onion rings were falling apart and totally over cooked. Beer battered shrimp was very tasteless. Maybe years ago this place was great but not anymore! This was my first and last time here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
