I work super close to here and therefore find it convenient to Come here at times, but today I've had it! Aside from other issues:
Bought a big water here - took one sip and tasted like pure plastic. Like when you leave a water bottle in your car for days, boiling and melting into plastic lava. I was literally outside the store when I took the sip, turned around and went back in and tried to explain to the person working there that the water is bad-- they just kept saying no refund because I opened it. (how would I know if I hadn't had a drink from it?) I didn't want a refund- I just wanted a new water that I could drink. No avail. I said "OK" and left.
Went around the corner to Moe's deli, which despite the 1 block difference, has tons more options including a full deli..and non toxic water for a quarter less! And very friendly people, to boot. Got my non carcinogenic water and continued on with my life, thank goodness!
as an occasional shopper for over a year, today was my last encounter with this shack of a store and advise anyone else needed items to walk the 2 blocks to Moe's (or DUnkin donuts 1 block away) and save yourself a headache.
