I always want to like this place much more than I actually do. I came here for lunch and ordered the shrimp poboy. I honestly have to say I was pretty disappointed. The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because I think the shrimp was pretty tasty, but it was completely overshadowed by the huge and heavy piece of artisan bread that was used. There were only 4 pretty small shrimp which you could barely taste because the bread was so abundant. I liked the sauce which I was told was a remoulade but really tasted more like a stone ground mustard. I think this poboy would have tasted pretty good if it had a little more shrimp and was on a softer and more delicate piece of bread.

I went here for my birthday last night. I've never been to New York before. We had another place in mind but I'm glad we didn't go. As soon as we came in they welcomed us in dancing and so full of life. This is a cozy spot. I mentioned to one of the guest it was my birthday and I got 2 different versions of a birthday song lol. The zombie punch is the bomb and he even made me a surprise drink don't know what it was but it was delicious. This was the perfect way to end my 30th birthday and I'm so glad I went here. Ask about the secret chili I told him he needs to bottle it!! (I think lol) the drink makes me a little foggy I will be back. Great service.
