High prices rotten food check the expiration dates 8-10 the food is expired really bad customer service, and yet they are a monoploy go figure.

Horrible store but we sometimes go there anyway as there are not so many other options on Roosevelt Island. We were told several times that the deli section is closed even though they had everething out there and an employee was standing right there. Quite pricey as well.

Prices are high even by Manhattan standards. Long Island City/Astoria grocers nearby are more reasonable. Also, items frequently ring up for the wrong price. (Not just sale items!)

Don't shop in here. It causes disappointment every time. Overcharge and change "mistakes" are norm here.

This gristedes has had a major face lift for the better. They now have a variety of organic, gluten free items. There is a hot bar area and seating outside. The produce here has been pretty good when I've had it. This is also the location of an amazon locker. It's the only supermarket on the island, and now it's worth walking to.
