If you've been in NYC a while, Grimaldi's needs no introduction. If not, its coal-fired pizza which is pretty good. Place is cash only though, and they don't do slices, so be ready prepared. But salads and pizza are very good, and a small is plenty for 2 people.

Food was delicious, however, the service left much to be desired. Because of their ineptitude and perhaps wish to close out we didn't have coffee and dessert.... This after forgetting to put in the order for our salad before our pizza. A lot of lost money for you and an undeserved tip for him.

great pizza. only place in coney island tourist area that doesnt rip you off on prices for quality food.

My wife and I love Grimaldi's - but thats the one in downtown brooklyn on Front Str. I don't know what happened with this one, but they changed the pepperoni and the sauce and it tastes nothing like the one on Front str - very dissapointing

If people only knew. Went to Grimaldis . Was disappointed. Didn't know the original owner was next door at Juliana's. Went a month later to Juliana's. The pizza was great. Far better than the soggy pizza at Grimaldi's.
