If you are looking for a cute cozy little bar with great food this is the place to go to...some of my favorite things to eat are the mini burgers, wings, pot roast panini and of course the drinks!

Greenwich Street Tavern is a great little spot in Tribeca. Very friendly staff, good food, good drinks and a great atmosphere. The perfect place to go and watch a game, have some drinks and just hang with friends. It's nice to have a spot in this area with such a laid back, friendly vibe.

The Greenwich Street Tavern is the only bar of its style in TriBeCa. The atmosphere is always pleasant and staff always friendly. For a tavern, I would say that the food is very good and obviously the drinks are great too. They have a happy hour on the weekdays which is perfect for me as, my office is near bye:)... Additionally the tavern always seems to keep moving forward by keeping decor fresh, adding outdoor seating and always having a reliable staff that you get to know and trust. I would highly recommend going here.

Stopped by on a Sunday since we were wandering the area and it looked like a decent spot. Gave a pretty simple order: bbq burger and an egg sandwich with bacon on a gluten free roll.
After about 40 minutes, the food came out and the order was completely wrong. Eggs were on an English muffin, which my wife can't eat, and the burger was a breakfast version with eggs and hollandaise sauce. The server apologized, said it would be fixed.
Waited another 15 minutes, and the waitress who initially took our order came out to tell us they didn't have the gluten free roll that we were initially assured was an option, and all they could offer were corn tortillas.
We waited yet another 15 minutes, and the order was still wrong. Eggs on tortillas, but scrambled instead of over-easy, and with no bacon. The burger was obviously recycled from the wrong order - egg just scraped off and some bbq sauce dumped on.
At that point, we had to leave to get back to the volleyball matches across the highway, and couldn't wait around another half hour hoping the staff could figure out 2 dishes. Food was completely sub-par and service was painfully slow. At least the servers were friendly when they apologized again...and again... and again.

Joe, it's good that you seem to take feedback seriously, but it's not clear if you saw the full review.
40 minutes and not the right order would have been annoying, but if the staff had quickly fixed it and the food was worth the wait, it would have been forgivable. It happens.
The issue was that we waited well over an hour in total, and even after the second attempt, my wife's sandwich was still entirely wrong. It had THREE ingredients, and not a single one was what was initially ordered. I just don't see how that's possible, even if someone calls in sick.
I'd be much more willing to try again - and pay - if you just comped this order.
