I rode my bicycle here. There was a big locked gate at 2 in the afternoon. Maybe because it was Columbus Day? Anyway, I wound up finding a trail on the right of the gate. I walked along it for about thirty minutes. On one side was a few trees and route 9W, which diminished from the peaceful nature vibe I was going for. On the other side of me about 20 feet away, a metal chain link fence went along the trail. I did see some deer which was cool.
I'd like to go into the park when it is open, if they ever open. If not, I'd never go back.
