Green Cactus Mexican Grill

If you haven't been to this hidden treasure, don't hesitate. By far the best!

Great tacos, burritos, and salads. They do take a long time to prepare them so maybe it's better to call ahead. At least you know it's freshly prepared each time. The salsa bar is a great addition to the chips. Prices are a little high for my liking but it's not like there are many Mexican restaurants in the area to beef up competition.

Easily my favorite Mexican food. Unfortunately it is impossible to find a good taqueria in the Long Island area, and good/cheap Mexican food is a rarity in the island, and in Manhattan as well. I've been going to Green Cactus in Roslyn Heights for over a decade, and the food has been a consistent favorite of mine.

Always fresh ingredients and prepared while you wait. No atmosphere but clean and efficient restaurant service. If you feel like I do but you can't eat atmospherethis is the place to go. There are a couple of other pricing Mexican places in Roslyn. But the quality and freshness and value beats them all.

I was very unhappy to hear that tonight will be the only time I will have food delivered to my home from Green Cactus Grill in Huntington Village. Due to their inability to hire a delivery person at the Huntington, Jericho Tpke location and my delivery location being closer to this branch the staff from the Huntington Village location notified me they are unable to deliver food in the future. I expressed to them that I just wanted to order food and noticing on the web that this branch delivers being in the same town it dawns on me why wouldn't they want to deliver? They mentioned that it would take away business from the village if deliveries were made closer to the jericho tpke in huntington branch. I responded that they do not have delivery available and that is why I called them. I will reconsider my business with Green Cactus Grill and will definitely mention this experience to others.
