Recently had Grecian come out for a service call on my In-ground pool with a major liner problem (Grecian did not install it). Liner had been shifted off over the winter and taken water underneath. 2 different Pool places told me flat out to throw out the liner.
Guys from Grecian showed up - gave me a fair estimate to repair - go t work right away with correct tools. Re-Stretched and reinstalled the liner, fixed 2 other problems that I didn't know about and also scrubbed the liner clean. Even showed up on the 4th of July to make sure filter came on
The guys were courteous and professional, also came on every time exactly when they said they would.
I am blown away ..awesome work!

Grecian has my business for 19 years and counting. I hate to see someone like "Jules T" leave an ignorant comment like that below. I recommend all my friends to this place and they travel from Jersey just to get their supplies here. I actually had the same phosphate problem this year. The guys testing my water were very patient with me and explained the problem to me. The owner and the rest of the staff are definitely not trying to rip anyone off. Please disregard Jules T's comment, Grecian Pools is not only the most trust worthy pool store on the island but it also has the most knowledgeable and competent staff on the island. I recommend anyone who reads this review to go there for themselves and experience what I'm talking about.

Hey Jules!
Grecian is not trying to rip you off-and if you went to them I'm sure they would work with you. I have used the Starver products with success-the problem from a chemists point of view is that the testing capabilities are not very accurate (your problem you described is something pool owners and pool dealers have been dealing with for a long time-the testing is all over the map and not very accurate). In fact some test kits are testing in PPM and some test kits test in PPB which is a world of difference. Do you know what kind of test kit both stores were using? There is an awfully good chance that they are two separate kits-so you may not be comparing apples to apples.
With my pool I use Starver X and Starver M and I simply incorporate the products into weekly maintenance, trying to fix the high phosphate levels in a day or two is not what I look for rather I try to slowly bring them down with a maintenance program. I have used alot of phos removers and none leave my pool looking as clear as the Starver. Just my two cents. Thanks!

BEWARE THE PHOSPHATE REMOVER SCAM. THIS PRODUCT WILL COST YOU $48 AND IS USELESS. THEY WILL TEST YOUR POOL WATER WITH A FEW DROPS OF SOMETHING AND "IF" THE WATER TURNS BLUE WELL THEN YOU HAVE A PHOSPHATE PROBLEM IN YOUR POOL AND MUST BY THIS STUFF THEY PEDDLE CALLED "STARVER". I FELL FOR THIS OUT OF DESPERATION AND PAID MY $48 AND AFTER THE FIRST TREATMENT HE KID TESTING MY WATER ASSURED ME THAT THE DROPS SAY THAT I STILL HAVE A PHOSPHATE PROBLEM AND I WOULD HAVE TO TREAT THE WATER AGAIN. I WAS SUSPICIOUS SO I IMMEDIATELY TOOK THAT SAME WATER TO G&S POOL ON RICHMOND AVE AND THEY SAW "NO" PHOSPHATE ISSUE IN THE WATER. THEY DID HOWEVER RECOMMEND A CHEMICAL THAT "DID" CORRECT MY PROBLEM. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BE VERY CAREFUL WITH
THESE GUYS.
