With a 2-month exam deadline and a number of more or less futile attempts at studying for the GRE on my own and through the only test prep center in my country, I contacted Erfun Geula about online tutoring. Focusing on the quantitative portion of the exam, our weekly sessions included a range of general tips as well as detailed explanations on the topics I was to cover. Erfun’s personalized approach during sessions was further reinforced by his patience and flexibility in teaching, and extended beyond the sessions themselves when he provided homework assignments that ensured I was improving my skills. As I was incrementally improving with regards to gaining confidence in my problem solving skills and time management, the most apparent testament to the benefit of the tutoring sessions was receiving a score higher than my initial goal on my first and only time taking the GRE. This got me accepted into my two top-level university choices, and with that I’ll say that I highly recommend Erfun as a GRE tutor.
