Some foods are extremely salty, especially mapo tofu. It's like a half salt and a half food that must be very unhealthy.
I asked them not to make it salty but when I'm home with the food, I tasted same salty. They don't care about you. I will never go there again.

The food is ok. But the phone manner is always bad.
For years I had to order from this place because there were few alternatives for Chinese food in the area, which makes no sense given the Chinese population here. Now, gladly, there are more. For example, Taste of North China at 75 Montgomery St, Jersey City. And Confucious is expanding its menu. Even Shanghai best, which offers no great food but at least a normal experience.

I'm going to hold back my cravings for Chinese until I can get to Chinatown. Decent would be an overstatement!

the authentic Chinese dishes are mostly great (occasionally it seems like there's a brand-new guy in the kitchen). the soup dumplings are heaven. but if you're looking for regular American Chinese food, this is not your place.

The food is not bad, but the place is unfriendly, rude and irritated on the phone (too much even for my "chinese phone ordering" lowered etiquette expectations). Avoid and enjoy a more pleasant atmosphere somewhere else nearby.
