A great neighborhood bar in the heart of Gramercy Park. They have a amazing history taking over the space of the brass door tavern and then announcing that they were reimagining the space as the Gramercy Ale House.

Previously the brass door tavern this is the best bar in Gramercy. Better than the Gramercy Park Hotel; because it is meant for people that actually live in New York. It was bought by previous bartenders of the former establishment and revamped to be both fun, casual, and exciting all while taking care of their clientele

Fantastic establishment! The staff makes you feel like a guest in their home. Easily my favorite NYC pub.
PS: Nice touch with the skylight!

Went for a crowded Villanova game, but service was still great. Even though the bar was crowded it was easy to move around and get to the bar to order
