I was in NYC this past weekend, I was excited to bring some authentic Indian sweets home with me to NH. I entered and they had 2 display cases with different sweets, I asked how much the man told me $1.00, I clarified a $1.00 each he said yes.
I told the girl to get a large box, I was going to pick a variety, which I did. When she was putting it in the bag, I asked her if she had a larger bag, as I wanted it to lay flat as I was traveling. The same gentelman got a larger bag and laid it flat for me. The girl told me the price and he said no, he was going to charge by the pound... I was thinking it would be cheaper as I had bought in quantity.... NO, HE WANTED TO CHARGE ME ALMOST DOUBLE.
I walked out, I do not do business with dishonest people.
