Coming back on Presidents’ Day this year in my CTS-V the rear end slipped out and the back of the car ended up banged up. In the end, the trunk had to be replaced, the rear side panels and paint had to be matched on the rear. The car actually took it quite well given that it spun around twice and ended up facing in reverse. Due to my emotional attachment to the car I was worried that it would never be fixed the same. So, I decided to look for a shop that would do a good job.
It’s taken me a while to do this review since Gotham City Collision did such a fantastic job fixing up the car that I had no complaints. By that, I mean, it’s harder to get motivated to write an excellent review since there’s nothing to complain about. However, the car looks like new and I can’t tell anything ever happened. Additionally, they kept me updated throughout the process. I was also wanted them to re-apply various plastic paint protection films in vulnerable areas where chips were forming due to rocks and other debris. They took care of that and many other small details like clear coating the rims to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job. I came there to check the car multiple times and Frank would take me back to show me the progress. He even pulled up the readings on the frame alignment measuring machine to show me where it was off, and how they had corrected it.
If I need a body shop or mechanic again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Gotham City Collision for any brand of car. I really trust their repair skills and customer service. They always made me feel like I was their top priority.
