I've not been to the campus. I have never had a computer mind or math mind and had to work really hard on math to make the grades I got as a high school freshman.
I have to admit the first time I saw a Google car filming it really scared me. It has taken me many years to learn just how great and trustworthy Google is despite me being computer dumb. After all I have learned being people smart has been valuable as well.

Jamie, the bartender, was so friendly. Amazing wine options and she was extremely kind to explain the wines and taste them before getting the wine for dinner. Great good and amazing atmosphere! I will definitely be back!

As a business owner of a small rural family business it is apparent that Google has discriminatory actions against all of us who rurally operate. We at Lander's River Trips have one main office (where we receive all mail through a P.O. Box) and seven different locations on the river. The river locations include three riverside campgrounds. In order to verify the river side locations google requires us to put up a mailbox so they can send a postcard to that address. It does not make any sense for me as a small business to erect 8 different mailboxes and spend each day driving the 80 miles that my business stretches to pick up mail at each of those locations. The other way to verify those river businesses is to video capture those locations. One of the many requirements is that that location has a specific road sign that states the exact river location. I was informed that we would have to purchase those and have them erected. In addition, I need to purchase eight different business cards one for each location that lists that exact address. I did capture via video verification of our main office which was absolutely ludicrous. We had to drive a business van with our name on the side two times from where it was being used (yes we transport customers to the river) to the office since the first time they just saw the name/logo on the side and the license plate but did not see the van move. The van had to be brought back so the woman on the video call could physically see the van move. Really? It seems that Google does not have the logistics to manage rural businesses which have different locations. I addition the phone attendant refused to let me speak with her supervisor. She was not the least bit interested in trying to find a solution to the issue. It is sad when those of us who are seasonal small family business owners are discriminated against by Google. It is hard to believe that with today's technology that Google is not capable of managing the issue or perhaps small family businesses are not profitable enough? You decide! For me...it has taken six months of my time to verify one location - that's enough for me. I did capture the ridiculous conversation via video and when I have time will upload. It is unbelieveable!

By far my favorite Google office! It's incredible how Google managed the indoor facilities to open up the space to inspire such creativity from its workers. The office's expansion to adjacent buildings is keeping up with the tradition! If you have the opportunity to get an office tour - go for it!

I went to Google HQ and was Blown away. Looks like an awesome place to work at. I was afraid to connect to the internet here, at the source, I thought my computer might explode. No problem. I will post some pictures of the Computer display on the 8th floor - impressive. I remember a time when we had no computers (Really!) so it was great to see some old friends - Hewlett - Packard, Kaypro, Commodore Pet - If these names are alien to you, you must have been born after 1985.
