Goodyear Auto Service Center

This place is beyond a rip-off. They act so nice and helpful, but these people are crooks! I have taken my car here quite a few times for some minor work and their prices are crazy expensive. They once gave me a quote for over $900.00 and I ended up getting my car repaired for under $400.00. A few weeks ago, I took my car in for tires and an oil change. I knew that my car only needed front tires and that everything else was good because I had just had it inspected a couple of months prior. So they did my tires and my oil change and then call me to tell me my brakes are so bad they are almost down to the rotors. I was speechless. I just had someone look at my brakes and they had plenty of padding left. So I refused to do the brakes and said just bill me for tires and oil change and I will do the brakes another time. I got my car back and immediately noticed that my brakes felt different. Two days later, they are screeching because they were grinded down to the padding. Not only do I think they grinded down the padding themselves (which I know for a fact that a lot of mechanics do this to their customers), but I then a week later my car started to overheat so I pulled over and noticed that my coolant was leaking. I took the car somewhere else for them to tell me that it looked like the hoses had been cut. Are you kidding me? My car was fine before I brought it here and now I have all these issues to deal with. This is not the first time that I had more issues after the car was worked on here. I just wish there was a way to prove it. All I know is I will NEVER bring my car back to this location or any Goodyear for that matter. You people should be ashamed of yourselves, trying to take advantage of people, especially when you know they cannot afford it.

Please beware of the Goodyear Auto Service Center in Englewood NJ. I went there for a routine oil change and rear breaklight replacement and I left paying over $200. They unnecessarily used synthetic oil on my 2000 Honda Accord and had all sorts of hidden charges and fees. They also wanted to perform a break fluid "flush" for another $300 - also unnecessary! I have been to a number of mechanics but this place is by far the most shady. Avoid at all costs!
