Good Doggy Photography

We worked with Sonya last spring to take photographs of our two precious and lovable dogs, Coco & Cali. We found Sonya through her amazing work with was displayed at the dog spa that my dogs visit. I immediately fell in love with Sony'a work. Her photography is fantastic - she accurately captures each pet's unique personality in their photos. She is patient, kind, passionate, creative and true pet lover herself - which is evident in the photos she takes. We had a hard time selecting just a few of the photos we loved all of them!

Not only did we love working with Sonya but we also loved her style of photography. It's photo journalistic in nature, capturing the true essence of your pet's spunky personality in a natural setting.

We would definitely work with Sonya again, and we 100% recommend her for being the person person to work with to capture your fur-babies portraits.

In a word, Sonya is fabulous!

She showed up at my house with a gift for my dog, Bear. He is super friendly and loves people but the impact of a new toy should not be overlooked! Sonya is so sweet and clearly loves her furry photo subjects.

Bear is still a puppy at about 18 months with boundless energy and not much ability to pay attention. I could not believe how Sonya could get his attention (and keep it) even with other dogs or birds around at the beach. (She has many tricks up her sleeve).

Oh, the beach! Did I mention that she found an amazing location at a nearby beach? that allows dogs? What a beautiful spot for our pictures after some in my house.

She got so many great sots, it was hard to pick which ones to frame. Her pricing is reasonable too! If you want great shots of your furbaby, call Sonya!

I met Sonya at the Greatful Dog walk in 2012, and was so impressed with her as a person, as well as with her work.
Just this year ( Fall 2013) we had her photograph our Bearded Collies. What an amazing experiance !
These are very long hair, active dogs, who are strong willed and certainly ot "Posers" ...We call them ABCS, for active Bearded Collies.
I must admit we were a little concerned as when we saw Sonyas work all the dogs look so wonderful, we thought ours would be so bad that their pictures would be less than terrific.
We could not have been more wrong.She is the master at capturing the perfect moments, from Fun, to Winsome, to Clowning around, she captured their spirits and their souls, -amazing.
The most difficult part of the process is selecting, as we have maybe 100 outstanding choices. That was hard.
When the art we selected came in, it was supurb, she uses only the best materials, and creats masterful artwork.
We highly highly recommend Sonya and Good Doggy as the best in class.

Sonya is an amazingly talented photographer. I met Sonya at Holmdel Community Day April 2012. I was blown away by the sample images of her work. Sonya came to my house to photograph my 3 fur babies. She took hundreds of images for me to choose from. Each picture was better than the next! The selection process was tough because I wanted everything! I love how Sonya was able to connect with my pups and capture their personalities on film. Each of their photos is a true depiction of who they are (and they are all so different). Sonya also lends her services to photograph fur babies who are looking for their forever homes. I find it so heartwarming that she is giving back to help the animals who need homes.

I met Sonya at the Monmouth County SPCA walk in 2012 and immediately fell in love with the photographs she had on display. She did not disappoint when I setup a photo session at Holmdel Park during the fall with my Yorkie Poo. The pictures came out fantastic and I had such hard time choosing which ones I wanted displayed on canvas in my home! Every time I walk by his pictures it puts an immediate smile on my face, she did an amazing job of capturing his personality and now I will have those memories for a lifetime!!
