The go to for cheap Brooklyn Jury Duty lunch. $2 for five pork dumplings, can't be beat. Seems sketchy as hell inside, but it's legit. Styrofoam plates add to its charm

There are not that many good dumpling shops in Brooklyn and seem like I've found that made its way across the river from Chinatown to downtown Brooklyn/Fort Greene. It is a tiny, low décor shop as expected for this type of establishment. The Chinese lady at the register knew about 3 English words and had a cheat sheet in Chinese when you ordered off the English menu.
The dumplings which looks like it is made fresh daily as with some of the other dishes come in the usual assorted choices...chive & pork, Cabbage & pork, soups, pancake(which was out that day when I came), and noodle dishes all made from the same dough. The prices are cheap. I guess I'll have to part the $3 dollars for 12.

Your classic hole in a wall doesn't get any better than this! Decent food with a great price. A lot of the dishes won't go over $4. Cheap eats in Brooklyn. Dumplings and steamed pork buns. Sooo good.

A hole in the wall that serves up no frills but delicious dumplings. I've also tried a sesame pancake sandwich that was a bit dry as well as their sha cha beef noodle soup which was a bit of an acquired taste so I've learned my lesson to pretty much stick to only the dumplings. I typically like all things fried but surprisingly the boiled dumplings really won me over. They are always a favorite amongst friends when we order from here. Stick to the dumplings and you should be all set.

The service was friendly, but the food is not good. The fried dumplings have the thickest skin and the filling tastes old. The buns are weird and also filled with bad meat. The boiled dumplings are mostly okay until you eat one that's super salty. And finally the fried rice is okay but really just rice with cabbage, lettuce, and salt.
