After reading the yelp reviews about this jewelry buying company I gathered the battered and damaged gold and silver jewelry that I have had sitting around for sometime. I would like to note that I did not price my jewelry at any other shops so I can not honestly say that I got the best price.
When I arrived I was greeted by Ron who was very friendly. He introduced me to his co-worker Steve and then he assessed the jewelry that I had. Once I realized that selling only the gold would be beneficial for me I inquired about their repair services. Ron offered to repair the silver jewelry that I had (2 bracelets and 1 set of earrings) free of charge but he was unsure about how long it would take. Of course I took him up on the offer.
Fast forward about a month afterwards I call inquiring about my jewelry and the person I spoke to was clearly not Ron because they were not very friendly. I was told that my jewelry was not ready and he did not give a date when it would be. My receipt states that they are not responsible for goods left over 60 days and it is nearing that so I may just have to retrieve my broken jewelry after all.

Just left the store Ron and Steve were awesome. Very friendly and helpful and really took care of me ,I went to many other jewelry stores but only here I felt like family

I’m a long time coin collector whom has been trying to shuffle some of my collection for a fair price. I had researched a few places, looking for the one that will give me the fairest deal. When I came across Global Gold & Silver I was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Instead of terribly impersonal, over the phone consultation that I had received from other locations, I was encouraged to bring in my collection. When I stopped by, I was greeted and attended to by the owner, Steve. He was very charismatic and his appraisal and explanations were honest and thorough. Even as an experienced coin collector, I felt comfortable parting with some of my collection and we were able to negotiate and settle a deal that same day. I will definitely be returning here in the future if I decide to sell any other precious metals.

Martin was helpful at finding me a good present to get my mom and the selection was very wide. They also have a lot of nice engagement ring for sale which I will be recommending to a few friends. I think I was here one before they renovated it, and now it looks like one of those fancy Manhattan jewelry stores. the diamond ring I bought here for my mom ended up being a little small, but they were able to re size it for me which only took a few days. the employees here try to give a good personal service, which important for a jewelry store in New York.
