Awesome staff very laid back down to earth and respectful, great care for my 2 yorkies Ana and Elsa. I will definitely be bringing my cat Jax here. Very informative and helpful.

Every experience is a great one here. Dr. Hess has such an amazing heart, and the staff is wonderful. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my pets.

It's hard to find a vet where your puppy seems more excited to see the staff than she is to see you, but that is what happens every time our dog peeks over the front desk at Glendale Vet.

We chose Glendale Veterinary Clinic based on online reviews when we got a new puppy last summer and have been extremely pleased with their knowledge, customer service, and bedside manner over the last 8 months. Our puppy has been there numerous times for the typical vaccinations and spay, and most recently for a separate surgical procedure, and somehow still sees it as a fun place to go. The staff takes a legitimate interest in your pet and its well being, and that helped build an immediate level of trust between us.

I highly recommend giving them a chance, you won't regret it!

I've been to several vets throughout Ridgewood, Glendale and Middle Village, and this is, BY FAR, the best one. There's a certain warmth you'll feel as soon as you walk in. The whole staff loves animals and it was the first time my cat was treated like a patient instead of a customer.

My cat was yowling in pain, couldn't eat, and lost half her body weight over the course of a week. Dr. Hess was able to pinpoint the problems through the testing that was administered during my first visit. She was very attentive when I explained the various possibilities of what I thought may have caused her illness. During that visit, she provided me with options and advised me to hold off on what would've been an unnecessary and expensive ultrasound.

I was told that their office would receive the results of her bloodwork tests the following Monday morning. On Monday, I received a call at 10:03 AM (their office opens at 10:00 AM) to tell me that my cat had a serious issue with her kidney and was extremely dehydrated, and I was asked to bring my cat in immediately. I arrived shortly after the call and Dr. Hess already had a plan for her treatment and recovery, which included a specific (less expensive) ultrasound, additional bloodwork, PCV and total protein tests, IV catheterization and fluid therapy, medication, pain management, etc. She explained that they wanted to keep her in their clinic for 48 hours as they treated her. My cat was treated at their clinic for two days and while most of the proposed charges were on a "per day" basis, I was only charged for one day. By Tuesday evening, I was able to take my cat home. She had already regained some of the weight she lost, was no longer yowling in pain, and her appetite was back to normal. They also provided my cat with a new diet while her kidney recovers, which is lower in protein and easier for her kidney to process, they gave me antibiotics, and explained how to administer a fluid therapy IV to continue to rehydrate her body.

I was extremely impressed with how quickly they were able to diagnose and treat my cat. Their prices are also very reasonable. With that said, what impressed me the most was their service. Their whole staff is very professional, but also down-to-earth. I was never forced to wait in their waiting room surrounded by other sick animals. Within minutes of arrival, I'm always taken to a separate room to wait for the doctor or another member of their staff. I feel this is important because it eases the stress of the dreaded vet visit for my pets and decreases the likelihood of further illness. I never felt rushed, all of my questions were answered thoroughly, and my cat's health was treated like a priority, which is the most important aspect of any veterinary clinic. I highly recommend Glendale Veterinary Clinic to anyone who lives in the Queens or Brooklyn area, who is looking for a veterinarian they can trust and a place where their pets will feel comfortable and receive the best care. The commute is well worth the exceptional service you'll receive.

I took my fur baby there sick and scared after making an appointment and then finding time for me the same day and she got spectacular care. They all showed her love and affection and took such good care of her. The staff is amazing and the clinic is clean and professional. So glad I found the Glendale Vet Clinic !
