Glen Island Park is beautiful, n well maintained. There's a private beach, beautiful views, n a pleasant atmosphere.

The scenery is amazing and parking is cheap. This is a great place for a picnic and the castles there are beautiful.

This is a gorgeous place to sit and watch the world go by or to take a nice walk. If you enter during the off-season the parking is free. My work has a "retreat" at the Glen Island Harbour Club once a year, and it is spectacular.

Great location to seat and relax, and to get away from the madness for a while. This location was my to go place during many hard days in life, and when all I needed was some nature to surround me. Even if it is not what it used to be, for it will remain a great location for thoughts.
If it is a Thursday evening, on a summer/fall/spring in NY, you may see me there on the bench.
