Dr. Atlas was the anesthesiologist during my wisdom teeth extraction. I was very nervous, but Dr. Atlas made me feel very relaxed. He gave me all the information I needed to feel prepared for the surgery, and made sure I felt comfortable when I arrived. His sense of humor and professionalism helped calm my nerves immensely. I cannot recommend him enough.
I was only half-knocked out (not a full-blown anesthetic), because I was only having dental surgery. He must have monitored the levels PERFECTLY because I woke up after completion without any prompting, did not feel any nausea or any other side effects (even though I have had bad reactions to being knocked out in the past).
Dr. Atlas escorted me, with my boyfriend, to our car, to be sure I was alright. He called my boyfriend once and then myself once to check on how I was doing. He gave me a number to reach him at at any time, just in case I started to feel ill or have adverse reactions.
He was extremely thorough and very friendly. I recovered from the anesthetic without any side effects at all ... Recommend highly!
