Gino's Barber Shop

Great guy, great decor, great reading material (wink), and most importantly, great haircut. Skip Buzzcuts, Supercuts, or anything of that ilk and just make a beeline for Nick at Gino's. You won't be sorry.

based on the reviews I was expecting an old school barber (which is what i am used to and which is why i chose this place based on the reviews) but instead I got a generic, subpar supercut style cut. no scissors, no straight edge, and a dull, noisy cordless trimmer to clean around the neck and sideburns (even at home I use a Wahl Peanut). I asked for a long buzzcut and asked for the hair to be the same length all over but instead my hair looks a bit uneven and a lot shorter than what i asked for. they didn't seem like a terribly friendly bunch either, zero conversation and no small talk. The person who cut my hair was Harry and he looks more of a biker than a barber.

Just moved to Hoboken from Mass and unsure where to get a cut. Went to to ginos and it was exactly the barber shop I was looking for and even finished with a shave around the kneck. I will be going there again.
