Gillies Coffee Company

After I placed an order of Bromley's teas with Gillies Coffee shop today for my small boutique in southwest Michigan, I had a delightful surprise: I received a note from the president of Gillies. It was not a generic note, but a personalized note. Mr. Schoenholt had taken the time to look at the facebook page for my shop and commented about it. When one of the products I ordered was unavailable, I actually received a phone call from Olive of the Customer Service Department of Gillies, asking me about a substitution. All this is on the same day I placed the order! This is a refreshing difference from two other vendors I deal with on a regular basis. While I love their products, I sometimes wait nearly a month to receive them. One of the two companies acts like they are doing me a favor to have me as a customer, and not the other way around. So, it was so refreshing to be treated with dignity today by Gillies. When I first ordered the Bromley's tea, I wasn't sure if I would continue to carry it, but people came back into the shop looking for more! They said they had first tried it in Europe and loved it. One British gentleman returned many times for the decaf tea. My son who is not a tea drinker scarfs down the mint tea. I don't even like Darjeeling tea, but the Bromley's variety is fantastic! Gillies is the place to order your Bromley's tea even though it is a coffee shop. Since I am not a coffee drinker, I can't speak for their coffee. I can speak for the way they treat people, however, and that is A+++. Kudos, Gillies!

This is a wonderful group of people, they have a passion for all things coffee, and as a provider for my shop's coffee and tea, I couldn't be more pleased with their service, quality, and rapid shipping. Here's to a long and mutually benificial relationship!

It's been a few years since my first negative post on your page, and I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not proud of the way I went about things. The anonymous personal attacks and embellished stories were a bit much. Multiple years later, I hope we can let bygones be bygones and move on. I felt there was no better way to let you know than to write a positive review as an olive branch (as I can't actually find the old email account that I used to write those original reviews). All the best to you and your families.

Gillies is a great company to work with. We have been ordering there coffee for over a year and never had an issue.. THANK YOU GILLIES

went to river café in DUMBO , and had a great cup of coffee. I had asked who the coffee was from and they said it was a company called gillies- Right here from brooklyn.
the coffee was fantastic.
I looked them up and called in an order to try at home. The rep Dave was very helpful and he suggested I try the flavored coffee sampler. So far I got through the Pumpkin Spice and the Southern Pecan blends. Both brew very smooth. Im reserving the last star until I try the other three flavors!
