Excellent food--particularly the white bean soup and kale salad and pastas. Intimate atmosphere and good service. Good value. Wish they took credit cards.

Very great Italian restaurant that stands out from most places in this neighborhood. Gennaro seems to attract a neighborhood crowd - people that live close by and eat there often. Despite being cash only, the quality of food and wine selection outshines most Italian restaurants in NYC. This is a top gem.
