Genius Car Rental

I have been renting from Genius Car Rental for the past three years, and couldn't be happier. Using them for a wide variety of needs (e.g., running around town, Costco, moving my office, road trips, collecting friends & family from the airport), sometimes on very short notice, I have always been pleased and very satisfied with the availability and selection of vehicles. And I was especially delighted when they got the SmartForTwo, and Fiat 500 as part of their fleet! These are fun cars to drive when running errands around town, and there is NEVER a problem finding parking on the street! The fleet of cars and SUV's that Genius offers are well maintained, clean, comfortable, and come with an EZPass! And best of all, the prices are very competitive. As a user of many of the car share and rental companies doing business, Genius stands out for their service, attention to client details, availability, and are always my first choice. I highly recommend them. Their business model is Genius!

Wow, right out of the starting gate unprofessional, rude and unwelcoming.

Announced on the website: Fiat 500 and Fiat 500 convertible's... Yay! They don't have them, not til mid November. When asked how many of these little jems were in there fleet... Jermy replied, ” ya know it doesn't really matter.” Apparently, it matters enough that one company has rented them all til mid November. And clearly it mattered to me.

Jermy was rude, unfriendly and I hope not a supervisor.

I will not ever rent from this 'Genius'.

I will be sure to let everyone I know here in Weehawken...to avoid this place and go to one of the national chains even if it means traveling to get there.

From the quick response to calls and emails to the friendly, helpful and professional staff, Genius Car Rental provides amazing service. The cars are clean, in good condition and they have a variety at competitive prices. The location at the Port Imperial Ferry not only offers the best view of the city but a quick ferry ride in as well making Genius convenient for both New York and New Jersey residents.

I have rented a car from Genius on several occasions. They have the best selection of cars and substantially better rates than Manhattan. The location is ideal at the ferry station and it only takes 8 mins to get to and from midtown. The service is excellent they make the experience as hassle free as possible. I have recommended Genius @ Port Imperial Ferry to all my friends. I never write reviews but I had to because of the level of service here. Thanks JS
