Hi Genesis Auto Town,

I am a customer that use to come to your store whenever I have a tire problem. I was referred to your store by a friend/coworker of mine. I told every one who work with me (around 200 employees) about what Genesis store manager did to me and as a result everyone declined going to your store.

I arrived your store around 9:00am, talked to the store manager about my car problem (tire sensor on and car dash board showing stars reading for the front right tire).

Store manager entered the car inside the shop and one of the store employees start to look up the issue. The store worker who inspected my car came to manager and told him something in Korean. Store manager translated that to me that I have residue between the tire and the rim that causes the light to go on, it will cost me $25 and 30 minutes waiting time. I said ok.

During the 30 minutes I peaked at my car that was cranked up with all tires on and no workers around. 10 minutes later the store manager called me in to pay $27 and change for fixing my car. I asked the manager are you sure you worked on the right tire, he said no we fixed the left front tire as the store employee checked all tires and there was nothing wrong with the right tire. I told him but there was nothing wrong with the left front tire as I told you my car dash board shows that the issue with the right front tire, he answered me that whoever did the sensor installation before did a mistake and set the sensors wrong so the right shows left and left shows right just drive it for 2-3 minutes and the sensor light will go off. I took the car for a ride, and I came back to store after all tires shows pressure on my car dash board except the right one again. As soon as I returned to store, the manager was laughing and told me you drove it for 3 seconds you need to drive it for 2-3 minutes. I told him that I know when my car register the pressure tires. I am going to take it again for another ride but I am sure that the light won't go off and I went again for another ride. I came back to the store after 4 minutes with the sensor light on, as soon as I entered the store, the manager was laughing again and trying to tell me that it is not enough time driving for the car computer to register the tire pressure. I told him now I am pissed off because of your service (with a frustration). Store manager started to shout loudly inside the store and accusing me of raising my voice. Store manager ask me what do you want now. Do you want your money back?! I said sure. he asked me for my card and told me get the hell out of my store. I don't want to see you here again. I told him, is this how you deal with your customers?! he said, you sounds like you are a big customer for us. We don't need your couple dollars, give me your credit card to refund you the money. While he was handling me the credit card back he told me you must leave now I am calling the cops on you. I said excuse me, you are calling who?! he said P-O-L-I-C-E. I left the store without saying any thing but the manager continues insulting me.

Now I have my charged card receipt, my charge void receipt and a yellow slip for the service that the store manager claiming that he provided me.

I called all the numbers on the business card and the yellow slip. I asked for the owner but the store manager answered the call and told me the store owner doesn't know English.

I am going to put this on the on line reviews. I am going to make a customer complaint and to contact 7 on your side.

I recommend the owner to in-service his employees and specially his store manager about customer service, honesty and accommodating customers.

Love this place... found out about it because I lived near it... went to get my tires, oil and brakes changed and have had a good experience. Staff is knowledgeable and looks into your concerns. Very straight forward when it comes to their recommendation and thoughts on your vehicle maintenance. Prices are fair I guess... I come back because they are very honest.

Overall very good experience with this shop.
The manager is kind and polite, and most important, honest.
the rates are reasonable (definitely not scamming nor dirt cheap)
and they do try their best to finish the job as early as possible.
This shop probably has the longest operation hours in this town too.
