Gem arbitrarily cancelled our loved-one’s appointment to be evaluated for LIFE-SAVING SURGERY with a busy surgeon’s office that we had scheduled 3 weeks in advance. We also contracted for the transport with Gem 3 weeks in advance and PAID THEM UP FRONT! When the transport was 30 minutes late we called to find out why, and were told that these actions had been taken on Gem’s ‘authority’ without notifying us due to ‘high-volume’!
DO NOT place your family member’s LIFE at RISK with this inefficient, negligent and over-scheduled transport ‘service’! It is difficult enough to schedule appointments with specialists as it is! To have a driver cancel your appointment is INEXCUSABLE and DANGEROUS! It’s going to cost you time, money and quite possibly someone’s LIFE! They really should have their license as a transport service suspended!
