Let me start off by saying: wonderful customer service. A friend of mine was having a baby today and I didn't know the gender so after looking at the arrangements online, I called Gefken Flowers and said "I would like something that's similar to 'Isle of White' and 'Beautiful in Blue' because I love lilies but is also gender neutral like green and is in the 35-45 range. I also need it ready by 1pm today." Laura NAILED IT. She exceeded my expectations and was very helpful with my purchase. If you have the privilege of going into the shop, it smells delightful and their greenhouse is amazing! Wonderful merchant and a pleasure to do business with!

Helpful guidance with my order(a topiary for an elderly relative), a timely 'rush' delivery & beautiful execution. I could not want more, and the recipient was thrilled with the gift, which she described as "beautiful & unique." Flawless experience.

Wonderful Service and Beautiful Flowers!

My family and I ordered flowers from Gefken Flowers for our family friend in the hospital. Laura, the owner, made a beautiful arrangement that smelled fantastic, which was perfect for the stuffy hospital room. All the nurses in the hospital could not stop commenting on the flowers and it made our dear friend's day.

We have continued to use Gefken Flowers for sympathy arrangements as well as for Valentine's Day. Could not be happier with the service and I highly suggest this business for any occassion.

Absolute Incompetence

I placed an order online on February 10th to be delivered on February 21st. They charged my card on the 13th, and then tried to deliver the bouquet, to the wrong address mind you, on the 14th. They called the recipient to tell her they delivered it to the wrong address and she called me to say thanks. Unfortunately, it was also the wrong day.

I called to straighten it out and the man I spoke with explained they must have overlooked the date in the Valentines Day rush. Why they keep orders for the 21st next to order for the 14th is beyond me, but they assured me it would go out on the 21st.

So, on the 21st I called to confirm and the woman who answered initially said they were supposed to be closed the 21st so I couldn't have placed an order for today. After explaining that I had, in fact placed one since they had already bungled it once and charged my card, it took half an hour for the woman to search through her records to find the order they had already charged me.

This has been an excruciating experience and I would not recommend that anyone try Gefken if they want anniversary flowers to be delivered on the correct day.
