Gary's Wine & Marketplace

LOVE gary's. staff is so friendly and helpful. they really do go out of their way to find what you're looking for, even if you didn't know what you were looking for in the first place. gary himself is there pretty regularly as well. selection is top notch, they have a wine tasting bar and usually have a variety of cheeses for sampling as well. if you ever want to see how the other half live, venture into the climate controlled wine room with the expensive stuff. yikes.

besides the wine though, they have an amazing selection of alcohol from all over the world. want 20 different brands of tequila? sure. 20 kinds of rum? no problem. pretty expansive beer section as well. it's fun just to walk around and explore the huge selection of exotic alcohol brands and flavors available. everything is reasonably priced (well, except for that climate controlled room) and they have frequent sales. especially love the little cards on featured wines scattered throughout the store that provide a nice synopsis of the selection including official reviews and what it tastes like. fun to read stuff like "bold, with a currant undertone and a hint of black cherry and chocolate. great with veal". walk around the store for 15 minutes and you'll get quite the education on fine wine...

i'd say this is hands down my favorite liquor store around. between the service, the prices and the selection, you simply cannot go wrong at gary's

Great customer service and awesome liquor and beer selection. I'm not really into wine so I can't speak for that, but I get a lot of my craft beers here and they have great bourbon and scotch.

Large selection of wine, liqours, and beers at reasonable prices and a helpful and kind staff.

For the first time, I and two of my friends stopped by to get two bottles of wine, when a nasty cashier, an old woman, that she probably thought that was an undercover cop or she thinks she works for the FBI asked me, and for all of my friends an ID. I said I am buying the wine, its ok for me to present the ID (Even Thought I look older than 35) but they (my friends) are not. However, my friend showed it to her but my other one didn’t carry with her and she refused to sell it to me because one of the three didn’t have it. I said it’s not even for me; this was a gift for a friend. She treated us rude and disrespectfully. I will never go back there and I will make sure inform all my employees no to go there. This HORRIBLE employee embarrassed your store. It was today 11/05/14 around 2pm. Please check the cameras and for the store manager PLEASE give some customer service training or just fire this bad employees that don’t contribute to your workplace

Fantastic selection of wine of course, but also a pretty good beer selection. The wines are varied and of high quality, and the staff can help pick out good ones. The wine and meat samples are also a nice touch. My favorite part though is the beer where they have a nice selection of craft and some rarer beer like trappists and lambecs.
