Garden OB/GYN at Manhattan

The absolute worst. There is minimal communication or follow up from the office. It is up to you to hunt down someone who can give you answers. The call center is a joke, inefficient, with an average 10 minute wait time to get someone on the phone.

Not too sure why everyone is saying bad things about this place. Ive been here for about a year now. The helped me through my second pregnancy and even after. The wait time can be long sometime but lets be honest, what doctors office has a 5 minute waiting time. The doctors and staff are friendly and even remember me and ask to see pictures of my son. Makes me feel really welcomed and like im valued as a patient. The only complaint i really have is that ive seen some nurses (or medical assistants) handle my urine sample with no gloves on. Thats nasty to me. As im in school for medical assisting thats the first thing we are taught. Not to deal with any bodily fluids without gloves on. And its just common sense. Other than that its a great place all around.

I am fairly shocked to read the extremely negative reviews. I had a very different experience so far, perhaps because I have only been there a few times.

All I can say so far is that I love how clean and welcoming the place looks. I only waited about 15 mins for my appt. and I was treated very respectfully and nicely from the staff. The doctor was competent and she had a great bedside manner.

Only complaint I have is that they billed me for tests that I was not informed I would have to pay for. That has never happened to me in my life, but I do plan to settle the matter in person during one of my follow-up appointments.
