Garden Ob/Gyn at Garden City

Prepare to wait at least three hours. This place is awful. Every time ive had an appointment for a pap smear theyve made me wait hours and then just tell me to come back and theyll do it next time. Never coming back. Definitely not worth it.

Coming to this office as a new patient assuming I would be in there for hours by the ratings and people's comments but I wasn't. Everyone there was very kind to me. I had the privilege of meeting Rosemarie Hazoglou, D.O. who explained everything to me and listened very nicely and wasn't in a rush to get me out of her office. Most doctors I've been to did that abs is the little things that count. The wait in the room was great I went in did my sonogram, blood work all at a reasonable pace. I would recommend this office to someone else even if I've only been there once. First impression is always important to me. The office is very comfortable not awkward at all. The front desk assistant was very friendly. I have to say I got blood work done by my doctors office and on my arm I was badly bruised. This lady name Ester did my blood work my arm today feels amazing not bruises.

My experience here was awful. Yesterday February 26,2016 I was having bad cramping because I am pregnant, and I called the place if I could come in because I needed a check up. So the girl said I could come in at 1:20pm mean while I called at 12:45pm , when I got there the front desk girl was irritate because it was so busy, so at first I was being patient with her. And then I was like excuse me I just called in and it's an emergency I have really bad cramps. This girl didn't even care and she said well there's no one At this moment that can see you, I was like I don't care all of you are getting payed , and I need to see somebody. So then she's like okay have a seat I will go talk to someone. Remind you this was my second time going there as a new patient, you will expect it's a nice place with nice people in it. Wrong! The girls there are so unprofessional they seem very immature college girls who don't value their jobs and think they have the right to be nasty with the patients. So anyways the front desk girl came back and told me that she will call masapeqqua if they have some time available for me. So I was like great hopefully there I will find some doctors and nurses who are way professional than here. Then I asked her if they took fullcoverage insurance? Because I have Tricare I am a military wife and my insurance has to coverage all the medical stuff and I know that the first time I went to the GYN I was seeing Maria Culotta who takes tricare tell me how I saw another GYN who is a an assistant and now I have to pay 472$ because they change doctors all the time , that office it's so unprofessional even the front desk girl said "it's a little confusing" please give me a break and grow up. So the front desk girl sent me to massapequa when I got there the front desk girls are completely different they were so nice and asked me why they sent me here from all the way from garden city I said I am pregnant! And they didn't wanted to take me in the other office because they are unprofessional. The front desk girls said yes they are. We have been having trouble with that office a lot. Anyways massapequa so far was a great office , I felt very comfortable they took care of me like Doctors are supposed too take care of patients! The nurses are loving, caring and smiling. If you have serious trouble with the GYN garden city feel free to call the department of their company and express your experience to them, they will provide you with a better GYN , you don't have to go through this humiliation!

i am Pregnant and I went today for several tests and Doctor Maria Culotta was very rude , My Appointment was at 12;15 pm and they made me stayed waiting on the waiting room 1 hour and then when finally called me, the girl at the front desk told me she was checking first if my insurance was fine before let me in, Ridiculous. Cause This is not The first Time I go there cause i have been going there for about 2 years already even way before got pregnant. they always very unprofessional but the doctor was nice and this time is different, I am So done with this place and This Dr Culotta, Anyway i got inside the place, the nurse came to asked me some general questions, and they told me to get naked cause the doctor will come soon to check my breast for a test and also they will send me to do an ultrasound, i took my clothes off and the doctor and her staffs made me wait inside that room 1 hour and 30 minutes, so i went Crazy and i left with the bathrobe outside where my husband was int the waiting room cause i was going crazy stuck in that mini room, and when i came back the girls were all on the phone and talking with each other, and every time they were seeing me sending me to keep waiting inside that room, so i told them i was very irritated being lock there , and that the service was awful, so the Dr. Came and told me Next Time Make Sure to Find me Another Doctor and another place, which I answered Yes I Will, so She never did the Breast test on me, and left me there again, the other girl came after 10 minutes to do the ultrasound and she was new and I have almost 7 months pregnant and she couldn't see my baby only gave me pics of my baby head and one hand, terrible services, she told me that was everything, so she send me to go back to the small room to wait for the Dr. Culotta and after 20 minutes i got tired and I walked away from that place, DONE DONE DONE With These Mean Peoples

I have been a patient at Garden Ob/Gyn at the Garden City location for 2 years. I consistently wait for over an hour in the waiting room for my annual pap smear. I am not pregnant, nor planning to get pregnant... I only come for routine check ups. In order to get your birth control prescription and your pap results, you are required to come in for yet another appointment. You have to wait again for a very long time... then you are then charged for this "appointment" even though you are not allowed to get your results over the phone, by mail and they will not give you your prescription when you are there in person. This place is a total scam. They also require you to do a costly sonogram each year at your annual so that they can rack up more money. In total they charged my insurance company well over $2,500 for my annual check up and I am responsible for over $200 of that. Annual check ups are included in my plan, but when they get done scamming you into unnecessary tests and appointments, the charges just rack up.

Do yourself a favor and find a doctor who cares about YOU and not your money. I can't even tell you one person's name that I have ever seen there, since there is no consistency.
